Gardaí pulled over a rather suspicious character in Kildare this morning

Just what have you been up to, Santa?

HE’S MAKING A list, he’s checking it twice, he’s… being pulled over by the Gardaí?

Gardaí in Kildare stopped a rogue driver by the name of Santa Claus earlier this morning, tweeting a warning to other road users to be on the alert:

Gardaí are asking the public to be aware of this man travelling from Kildare to Temple Street hospital today. Last seen on 25/12/15.

Santa was at the reins of this rather impressive vehicle, which we’re sure is all up to date tax, insurance and NCT-wise. Isn’t that right, Santa?

Of course, it was all a big misunderstanding, and the officers allowed Mr Claus to continue on his journey raising funds for Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Phew.

The man in red is making a lot of time for the kids at the hospital this year – earlier this week, he stopped in for a quick visit and chat with the nurses, and handed out goodies to all the little patients.

What a good egg. Don’t overwork yourself too much ahead of Christmas Eve now, Santy.
